What would it mean to you to see your name take flight with our lifesaving helicopter? Or to know that the name of a loved one was carried on every mission we fly to?
We are giving 1,000 people the chance to do just that. For just £150, you can add your name to the underside of G-TVLY, to soar over the community bringing critical care when it’s needed most.
This is the first time we’ve offered supporters the opportunity to have their name on our helicopter. Every name will tell a story. It’s a powerful way to:
Each supporter who takes part will have their name displayed on the helicopter for two years.
As an independent charity, we receive no government or NHS funding. Every lifesaving mission starts with your donations. That’s why this appeal is so special.
By adding your name to our helicopter, you’re not just showing your support, you’re becoming part of our crew. It’s a powerful symbol that every mission starts with you.
When our helicopter takes off to help someone facing the worst moment of their life, the names carried beneath it represent the community that made it possible.

Supporters can participate by donating £150. Each donation qualifies for one name to be added to the helicopter.
All donations need to be made by 31st October 2026 to be eligible to be printed on the first phase. The names will be printed when our helicopter is offline for service in January 2027.
The first phase will be limited to 1,000 names. Once we reach 1,000 donations the submission will be closed.
When making the donation, you will be asked to confirm the name you would like printed on our helicopter. This can be no longer than 30 characters including spaces and punctuation.
Acceptable formats:
Business or promotional names are not allowed.
All names will be reviewed and any offensive, discriminatory, or fictional names will be rejected. The donations will not be refunded in these circumstances.
The placement of names is based on submission order and grouped alphabetically. We cannot guarantee names will appear next to each other.
Names will remain on the helicopter for two years.
The helicopter is operational and is not available for public viewing. Thames Valley Air Ambulance will notify supporters where the aircraft may be present at any public events.
Donations must be new and specific to this campaign. Historic donations or donations that are linked to events are not eligible.
Thames Valley Air Ambulance reserves the right to reject or edit submissions that do not meet guidelines.
All donations made to this campaign are unrestricted. Thames Valley Air Ambulance retains full discretion over how funds are applied in line with our charitable objectives.
