Introduction:
The TVAA First Aid at Work (FAW) course is designed to equip learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills to provide immediate, effective first aid in the workplace. Delivered by experienced trainers with clinical expertise, the course combines classroom learning with hands-on practice to build confidence in managing real-life emergencies. This programme is fully compliant with the Health and Safety (HSE) (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, the HSE guidance on regulations (L74), and the assessment principles for regulated first aid qualifications, ensuring that learners achieve a nationally recognised standard of competence in first aid.
Course Duration:
A minimum of 18 hours over three days. This includes both theory and practical instruction, with time allocated for demonstration, practice, and assessment.
