Amanda McLean
Chief Executive Officer

Amanda has been CEO since October 2016, leading the charity through the transition to becoming an independent health care provider; being the first air ambulance to receive an ‘outstanding’ rating from the CQC and bringing our air operations in-house.

After graduating from Oxford University with a degree in law, she began her career in the third-sector working for Action for Children before helping to start a leadership development charity, Windsor Leadership.

An experienced charity leader, she has since led World Cancer Research Fund UK, the Institute of Fundraising and Prostate UK.

Amanda lives in Berkshire with her husband and two children.

Adam Panter
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Since 2017, Adam has been responsible for the operational delivery of the organisation’s services. These include managing the organisations aviation provision, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence.

Adam is the CQC Registered Manager and CAA Accountable Manager. In addition to these roles, Adam is qualified as a Critical Care Paramedic, allowing him to support our crews on the frontline.

He first registered as a paramedic in 2005 and spent more than eight years with the London Ambulance Service, progressing from a Technician to Duty Station Officer.

Jon De Keyser
Director of Finance

Jon joined as Director of Finance in October 2019 and is responsible for the Finance and IT functions at Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

He was previously Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at the Royal British Legion, building and leading a team of business partners to support the charity with strategic financial advice and support.

Jon is passionate about the charity sector and brings broad finance experience to the organisation, having also worked in a variety of roles at the British Council and Unicef UK. He qualified as an ACA chartered accountant while at the National Audit Office.

Jon lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife and three young children.
