FAQs

Access to the car park opens at 10:30am with access to the event open from 11am.

There will be a variety of fun activities for both children and adults to enjoy, including:

  • Special demonstrations from our frontline crew
  • The opportunity to see our helicopter up close during a flyby and landing.
  • A vintage and classic car display
  • Fairground rides including a helter-skelter
  • Circus shows and workshops
  • A delicious selection of food from local vendors
  • Craft stalls from local businesses.

The helicopter will be landing at approximately 11:30am and departing at 4:30pm. Once it has landed, the helicopter will be cordoned off. You will be able to take photos and speak to our pilots from the barrier. However, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate guests going any closer.

Absolutely, there will be lots of fun activities for kids. If attending with children, we will give you a wristband at the entrance for them. We ask you to write a contact number on the wristband so that if a child goes missing, we can contact the listed parent or guardian. Please see the map for the designated area to report a missing child.

The event takes place in an open field and guests with prams or pushchairs should be aware that the main arena and car park are, naturally, uneven and may be difficult to navigate. As much as we’d like to, we can’t control the weather, so bear in mind that should it rain, the festival may be muddy and there are not any solid pathways.

Free car parking onsite is available. The car park has one access in and out and so there will be marshals managing the flow of traffic, please drive slowly and adhere to their instructions.

There will be a designated parking section for blue badge holders, and we will have stewards on standby and available to provide any assistance that may be required.

Please note – parking is in a grass field and the event site is also a grass field. There will be a cleared space for the helicopter flight path between the parking lot and the event space.

We accommodate attendees with disabilities/accessibility needs wherever possible. At the same time, the event takes place in an open field and disabled guests should be aware that the main arena and car park are, naturally, uneven and may be difficult to navigate. The Big Birthday Bash is being held at Penn House Estate, Penn Street, Beaconsfield, Amersham, HP7 0PS.

The event parking can be accessed via Penn Street onto Horsemoore Lane.

All attendees will be given a wristband on entry, with the wristband on you’ll be able to go in and out if needed.

When you buy your ticket online, your ticket will be emailed to the email address you provided, please ensure you enter the correct email address. Simply print this out or show your tickets on your phone at the entrance of the festival where it will be scanned, you will also be given a wristband.

Tickets on the day are subject to availability. We recommend booking your tickets in advance. Pre-booked tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £4 for children. On the day tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children. We can accept both cash and card payments.

If you have lost your tickets, then you can have your tickets resent to your email address by heading to Ticket Tailor. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and find the ‘need help or lost your ticket’ option on the white bar and choose ‘click here’ (this is next to the privacy policy link) and follow the instructions. The tickets will be sent immediately to your email address. If you still have issues, please email the team at fundraising@tvairambulance.org.uk and we’ll be able to help.

On the day if you have any issues, please bring a suitable ID to the registration area and we will find you on our system.

All tickets are non-refundable but are transferrable. In the unlikely event that the Big Birthday Bash is cancelled due to weather, then we will be in contact with you.

Well-behaved dogs are allowed at the event but must be always kept on leads and picked up after. Please note that there may be loud noises and our helicopter landing that may be cause stress to anxious dogs. If any aggression is shown towards any guests or other dogs, we may ask you to leave the event.

Due to safety concerns, barbecues of any type are prohibited anywhere on site.

You can bring your own picnic blanket and chairs into the event but ask you may be asked to move if they are causing any obstruction.

This is a very strict no due to our helicopter flying in and out of the event. Due to health and safety, we cannot permit the use of any personal drones during the event.

Due to licensing restrictions, you are not permitted to bring alcohol into the event. There is a range of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) drinks available for purchase from our vendors.

There are no cash points on site, but most vendors will be accepting card.

There will be a variety of food vendors available which will account for different dietary requirements.

Yes, though we ask that you please dispose of cigarettes safely in the designated bins at the event. As this is a family event, we ask that you refrain from smoking or vaping around food/picnic areas and amongst crowds.
