Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour

Location: High Wycombe

Job Type: Permanent – part-time. 25 hours a week

As a member of the Fundraising Support Team (FST) you will process all non-cash donations including gift aid received by the charity. The FST is the focal point for donor and visitor contacts with the charity including phone, email, and reception. You will proactively take steps to improve knowledge and understanding of supporters through supporting the development of relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • To promote and communicate Thames Valley Air Ambulance aims, mission and policies to supporters.
  • To be the primary point of contact for the fundraising team to deal with donations and donor inquiries.
  • To provide a full admin and reception service to the charity.
  • To ensure all donations are posted on the CRM correctly.
  • Complaint handling through to completion, including liaising with other relevant people within the charity.
  • To ensure all transactions and records of communications are properly recorded on CRM.
  • To complete any other duties as required.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Proven experience of dealing with customers, either face to face or on the telephone
  • Ability to work in an organised and logical manner
  • Patient, courteous and diplomatic manner when dealing with members of the public and sensitive issues.
  • Ability to use IT applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel proficiently.
  • Experience of working with a Customer Relationship Management database / system.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
