Stubbings House Gardens is opening as part of our Open Gardens programme.

The estate has a beautiful stately garden set in woodlands around the 18th Century Stubbings House. With lovely open parkland and lawns and extensive southerly views. There is also an opportunity to explore some 250 acres of woodland known as Maidenhead Thicket.
Within Stubbings don’t miss the specimen trees, including 250 year old cedars and a wonderful araucaria, also the glorious 70m herbaceous border backed by a wisteria covered garden wall.
The 18th Century ice house adjoining the property is of notable interest.
Free parking available on the site, with access to the garden through the Stubbings Nursery, which serves excellent morning coffee, light lunches and a delicious selection of home-made cakes and scones.
