Cheers to a new charity partnership We’re delighted to announce that leading independent brewer, Hall & Woodhouse, have chosen us as one of their chosen charities for the next two years. Hall & Woodhouse have linked with eight local air ambulances across the country. All air ambulances are all set to be equal beneficiaries of the fundraising partnership. There will be 51 Hall & Woodhouse pubs taking part in supporting the life-saving services, with an aim of raising in the region of £250,000 over the two-year period. This will be achieved through many fund-raising activities organised by each of the local pubs. Lucinda Gray, Hall & Woodhouse Charity Champion, commented, “As a company that places community at the heart of our business, supporting worthy causes is very important to us. These local air ambulance charities cover the counties where our pubs are located. Each of them works tirelessly to care for critically ill or injured patients within our community. We are extremely proud to have so many of our pubs backing the campaign and being able to support this wonderful cause. “We raised a phenomenal £210,000 for our last charity partner, Together with Short Lives, and I know our team and guests will do everything they can to exceed this total over the next two years.” TVAA CEO, Amanda, said, “It means so much that Hall & Woodhouse team members have chosen us as their new charity partner. I’m especially excited as I regularly enjoy family meals at one of the pubs which will be supporting TVAA, the Peacock Farm in Binfield. “Not only is this relationship set to raise a significant amount of funds to keep TVAA operational, it will also enable us to engage with so many people in the local community, raising awareness of the vital emergency service we provide.” Fundraising for the air ambulances will begin this month. In March some of the pubs will be taking part in ‘The World’s Biggest Pub Quiz’, an event being led by PubAid.
