Sir Tim Jenner KCB, FRAeS, RAF
Chairman of TrusteesSir Tim Jenner

Sir Tim was an operational helicopter pilot in the RAF before progressing to senior staff roles in the Ministry of Defence, eventually retiring as Chief of Staff of RAF Strike Command at High Wycombe.

After leaving the RAF he worked in the industry for ten years, joining TVAA in 2011 as an opportunity to use his experience to benefit the wider community.

Amanda Poole

Amanda specialises in strategic evaluation, market entry assessment and business plans. She has strong analytical, creative and communication skills and brings invaluable business experience to the team.

Amanda joined us a Trustee in 2014 and chairs the Fundraising Committee which oversees the fundraising strategy, as well as working to maintain the strong brand and reputational integrity of TVAA.

Keith Ifould
Operations Committee ChairKeith Ifould

Keith Ifould has been involved in the heritage and charity sectors at both management and trustee levels, since leaving the RAF in 2001. He has overseen a number of major projects,
and gained a considerable amount of experience in the fundraising sector.

Keith joined us as a Trustee in 2010 and oversees all aspects of the Charity's helicopter and medical activities.

Chris Bannister

Chris has had held a variety of roles in Financial Markets and Treasury, in both London and Sydney, Australia. He has extensive Board experience in the position of Chair, Non-Executive Director and Executive Director.

Chris joined us as a Trustee in 2014. He has a passion for governance and was keen to use his skills and experience in the Charity sector. TVAA was an attractive proposition given it’s life-saving role in the community and being local to Chris’s home in Buckinghamshire. Chris also Chairs the Audit and Risk Committee which has oversight, amongst other responsibilities, of risk management, investment management and financial management within the Charity.

Amanda McLean
Chief Executive Officer

Amanda McLean joined as CEO in 2016. Before joining the Charity, Amanda was the UK Director at WCRF UK (the cancer prevention charity) and prior to that has been Chief Executive at both Prostate UK and the Institute of Fundraising. Amanda is always keen to take a hands-on approach to the Charity and hopes to work closely with communities and partners to achieve the best.
