Many of you know that Will Anstice one of our Directors had a serious fall in June and was taken to Southampton Hospital by the Thames Valley Air Ambulance for specialist emergency surgery. The air ambulance was a vital part of the team that saved Will's life. On the 12th November we are planning to retrace the helicopters journey from the accident to Southampton Hospital and Will's return journey to the RBH by bike. The team will be undertaking the challenge to cycle 171km in one day from Reading to Southampton and back. Cycling is one of Will's favourite activities and currently he is using a pedal machine as part of his Rehabilitation Physiotherapy. His determination and grit and ability to pedal from his subconscious inspired the staff to organise this event to stand with him in the challenges he faces and to thank all those professionals that have done so much to help him.
