Manor Mix cement their support We love cementing relationships with corporate sponsors. Last month we were delighted to receive a £4,310 donation from Manor Mix Concrete. The Oxfordshire company raised money by giving us £1 for every metre of concrete delivered in a calendar year from their concrete lorry. The concrete lorry in question proudly displays our logo alongside their own branding. The fantastic fundraising idea was the brainchild of Jim Hadfield who was delighted with their fundraising efforts. “We’re pleased to have raised money for such a worthwhile cause, and we’re happy to cement our relationship with TVAA for another year,” said Jim. “We were also very fortunate to be invited to RAF Benson with our lorry for a photo and to meet some of the amazing medical team that do an incredible job in our community. We got to have a chat with them and have a look around the helicopter.” Bekki James, our Corporate Fundraising Manager said, “It was a real pleasure to work with Manor Mix Concrete on fundraising that is directly connected to the success of their business: the more concrete they delivered the more money raised for TVAA! Their donation will help ensure that our specialist Doctor and Paramedic crews will be able to reach seriously ill or injured people within minutes, ready to deliver advanced life-saving critical care that you would normally find only in a hospital A&E department. “ We love hearing your quirky and interesting fundraising stories. If you have an interesting way of raising money for us then please let us know.
