We hosted our first ever charity race night at Royal Windsor Racecourse on Monday 22nd May raising over £25,000.

The ‘Monday Night at the Races’ event welcomed our relief helicopter and crew. The helicopter landed in front of thousands of spectators to mark the start of the evening. Race-goers could visit the helicopter and speak to the life-saving crew.

Ruth Dunkin, Senior Fundraising Manager, said, “Monday night racing at Windsor Racecourse has a long history of supporting local charities and we are delighted to host our first ever race night here.

“Last year we were called out to approximately 80 equestrian incidents across the three counties we serve. This event has been invaluable in raising both awareness and funds to allow us to continue saving lives.”

On a beautiful summer-like evening in Windsor, the action continued with six races including the Leisure Stakes.

Our hospitality guests were treated to champagne, delicious three-course dinner, and even betting tips from two jockeys.

“Royal Windsor Racecourse is really pleased to be able to support a fantastic charity such as TVAA”, says Joe Pollack, Senior Marketing Executive for Royal Windsor Racecourse. “The work they do for the area is truly superb and a vital service that can save lives!”
