News and Media Blog A record sum for the Tractor Run The 10th Chiltern Vintage Tractor Run was one to celebrate this year as a record amount of £6,600 was raised. 70 tractors took part in the run that started in the village of Wormsley, meandered into Stokenchurch High Street and Wycombe Air Park. The 25 mile drive was completed by all tractors. We would like to thank The Ferguson Club for their continued support. The £6,600 raised this year takes the overall total of raised to £34,500 over the 10 years – a truly incredible feat. Organiser Gary Anderson paid special tribute to all the countless people who helped run the event, “Over the last 10 years we have had so many wonderful people support this event, without whom this fundraising would not be possible”. The Vintage Tractor Run is set to continue into 2017 with the run organised for 21st May, however next year’s event will be a slightly shorter run due to a request of some sore bottoms! Well done to all those who took part.
