In 2023, we faced increased demand. Our crews responded to 3,293 emergencies, making it our busiest year on record.
Behind each number is a real person going through perhaps the most traumatic event of their lives; our crew doing everything in their power to give them the best chance of survival; and your generous donations which fund every lifesaving mission.
In 1999, our critical care service first took to the skies. Now, 25 years and nearly 35,000 call-outs later, we dedicate our 25th anniversary to our patients and their families, each of whom are at the heart of our story as a charity.
